Goodbye Provo, hello Vegas

Goodbye Provo...

 It was the perfect morning for a road trip.
The mountains were so pretty I couldn't resist getting a few shots.

Our first stop for lunch was at the Pastry Pub in Cedar City.
I strongly recommend eating there next chance you get.

 Best Bagels you will ever eat.
Ever.
No joke.

On our way to Vegas Uncle M. and Aunt H. introduced me to The Lower Lights, and now I'm hooked.
Listen to some of their music here.

Hello Vegas...

Dinner with Guy Fieri... sort of

Britton was watching Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and Guy Fieri was in
Las Vegas eating at this place called Four Kegs.
According to Guy they have the best Strombonie he's ever had
and it was right by our hotel so we decided to try it out.
When we drove up we were second guessing our choice.
After a few skeptical moments we brave women stayed in the car and made the man (Uncle M.) check out
the place first.
He walked back to the car and told us it would be fine but he mentioned to Aunt H. (who was wearing a very lovely sweater) she might want to wear something else.
Definitely a Dive...

Definitely the best strombonie...

In the restaurant they had a wall full of pictures with Guy and a map with pins in all the places that people had come from to eat at the Four Kegs.

Aunt H. and Uncle M.

We put our pin in Utah and snapped a picture.
(The lady in the green sweater was our awesome waitress)

Phantom

We went to see The Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian and it was incredible.
The organ music in that show is amazing.
Not to mention the singing, the acting, and the stage.

I was really excited

Here are some pictures we took at the Venetian

 This was our favorite shop, it had the most incredible masks.

Vegas Day 2

On our second day in Vegas we went hiking here...

After some good exercise we enjoyed some time on the strip and went to the M&M factory.

(PS have you had the coconut M&M's? So good.)

 One of my favorite spots we went to was the Bellagio Hotel.
It was so beautiful inside.

We found this balcony while wandering around, I've never seen anything like it.

Not to mention there was a chocolate fountain and a cake shop...

And to top the night off we went to a Circ de Soleil show.
Amazing.

We took a Dam tour

We spent part of the day at the Hoover Dam.
It's pretty incredible.
Not to mention we had a good time making a lot of "Dam" jokes while waiting in line for the tour.

~~~
On our return home we stopped to see the Las Vegas Temple.
It was refreshing to see such a sacred and beautiful place when you've just spent the weekend on the strip which can get pretty worldly
Learn about our temples here.
Zions
On our trip back home we stopped at Zion's National Park.
It was gorgeous, here are some of my favorite pictures...
Happy Valentines Day!
Happy Day of Love!
  It's probably not hard to guess what I made for my roommates today.
But it wasn't just your regular pancakes...
 they were heart-shaped pancakes!
And they were made with lots of love.
 Also India wanted me to make her a huge pancake,
and so I did.
